The Christmas Parade

This week Oxford had its annual Christmas Parade. The whole town goes, and it is really fun. The floats are mostly local churches and businesses.

A boat float.

The pretty girls are Charlotte's favorites. This is Miss Hospitality...
Here is "Senior Miss Most Beautiful"...
"Miss Debutante"...

And Lafayette County's "Junior Miss".
A school band.
Santa dancers.
Riding Lawnmowers.
Here are the kids. I love them!
We went home and had hot chocolate and read Christmas stories.

We went to Peoria's Christmas parade. While it is the oldest operating Christmas parade, it is not as imaginitive as Oxford's. We also only had 1 beauty queen on display, lol. Write soon! Did you change your email address? I haven't gotten any responses from you. -Julie
