Fireflies

The kids stay up late to catch fireflies. It is the coolest thing. They are these little lights that fly all over the yard. So in the evenings, the kids get their jars, and run around in the dark. Of course, the kids love the bugs so much, they want to keep them forever. A firefly's lifespan is very short in our yard.

And this is the price we pay for playing outside in the evening. If I had a dime for everytime I hear "Mom, itch me!!!"
