This Is For You, Charlotte

I can't believe I am putting pictures of animals on my blog. Who am I? What has happened to me? For anyone who doesn't know, I am NOT an animal person. And yet, we have two pets. The only conclusion that can be drawn is that I am a saint and should be crowned Mother-of-the-Year.
Charlotte has been asking me to put pictures of the animals on our blog so she can show Grace. Blah.

Those are some cute pets! No wonder Charlotte wanted to show them to Grace!
I love your comment on my blog about handling the documents and it turning into an international incident! I'm hoping that won't happen, but if it does, can I call you to bail me out of international jail (or whatever they do to Americans who mess up their cool historical British things).
Would it be okay with you if I put a link to your blog under the "friends and family" link on my blog?

The dog's name is Missy and the cat's name is Panny (short for Panther). They are great pets and add so much to our family.

Missy is always so happy to see me when I come home, even if I've only been away for ten minutes. Missy always sleeps in Hannah's bed when Hannah's here. With Hannah gone, Missy wanders from room to room and acts dissatisfied with whoever's bed she settles into for the night.

Yesterday Henry caught Panny in the bathroom actually peeing in the toilet, so that's pretty remarkable. Stuff like that helps offset things like clawmarks on the blinds and her attempts to make me trip and break my neck. She is very ninja-like. She is no match for me right now, but her skills increase every day, as does her size. It she does succeed, she will make it look like an accident. I must be vigilant.

Bill's comment on my blog was great, and super true (don't worry, we will map out all the main fountains so you can go diving and gather money to fund our trip!). I'm thinking that we can add to our fountain money and also put together a song and dance routine that we can do on the side of the road, or in the Tube stations, to make some extra dough. Perhaps a Michael Jackson tribute group? Just a thought.

Animal blog? Please.

Aimee,

That's a great idea. We can dress the pets up, take pictures and put really clever captions on the photos.

Since tomorrow is Caturday, maybe we'll start then

Haha, Alisa, thanks for your unconditional love in spite of my bad choices! I know, the crepes were just a bit too heavenly so I had to go to the dark side to even them out.
That is so fun that you are up in Portland spending time with the wonderful Tanner family! Does this mean that you're taking Charlotte back home with you? How long will you be in Portland for?
